Introduction
You are going to be doing research to answer the question: Why did the American Colonies revolt?
Most of the Colonists came from Great Britain and considered themselves British. So why did they rise up, create an army, and fight England for their independence?
This is your quest!
During this WebQuest you are going to find out what happened to these colonists that caused them to stand up and fight.
Task
You are going to be evaluating a number sources that will give you insight into why the American Colonists started a revolution. While you are reading these sources, you should also be compiling notes (using this form) that will later help you answer the essay question: Why did the American Colonies revolt?
Process
You are going to go to four different pages where you will do some reading. Gather the information from each reading to help you gain an understanding about your main question: Why did the American colonists fight a Revolution? When you are done with one reading and the questions that follow move on to the next reading.
